COOKIE POLICY

Cookie Policy

Only technology needed to operate the site is active by default. Optional measurement and third-party players require a separate choice that can be changed at any time.

01

How the control works

Oddsilk starts in opt-in mode. Strictly necessary technology remains available, while optional measurement and external media stay disabled unless you make an affirmative choice. “Accept all” and “Reject non-essential” receive equal visual weight. Your choice includes a consent version and timestamps and is normally remembered for 180 days.

02

Strictly necessary

The `oddsilk_consent` cookie stores your categories, consent revision and timestamps. The `studio-language` cookie remembers language. Supabase session cookies protect sign-in and refresh an authenticated session; their names include the Supabase project reference and their lifetime follows the account session. Form security and server-side request controls may also process short-lived technical data. These functions cannot be disabled through the preference panel because the requested site or account function would otherwise fail.

03

Optional measurement

Oddsilk does not currently load an analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking provider. The optional measurement category is present so the default remains explicit and testable. Before any provider is enabled, this page and the Privacy Policy must identify it, the consent revision must increase, and existing visitors must be asked again.

04

External media

Public visual references use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced `youtube-nocookie.com` player. The iframe is not created until you allow external media—opening a page or clicking the first play control is not enough. Once allowed, YouTube and Google may receive IP address, browser, device and viewing information and may use cookies or local storage under their own terms. Revoking external media removes an active player from the page.

05

Changing or withdrawing a choice

Use the “Privacy choices” control at the lower-left edge of any Oddsilk page. You can reject non-essential categories, make a custom selection or accept all. A new selection replaces the earlier one. Clearing browser cookies also removes the saved choice and causes the consent question to appear again.

06

What this does not cover

Project privacy permissions—such as case-study use, production access, likeness consent or a data deletion request—are separate from browser privacy choices. They are managed in the project brief, account settings and written production agreement so accepting a website category never grants Oddsilk permission to publish client material.
